Inherited an Italian bakery. Fell in love with a Japanese cake.

Amore Torta is the new face of a Shelby Township pasticceria. We kept the bread oven, the cannoli, the calabrese loaf — and we added a daily Japanese soufflé cheesecake program because we couldn't stop thinking about it.

Every cake is whisked, baked, and served the same morning. It is unapologetically light. It wobbles when you touch it. That's how you know.
